Educator, art historian, and interpretive specialist with more than a decade of museum experience who finds innovative ways to connect people to works of art and one another. Passionate about promoting arts integration and strengthening visual literacy skills by developing spaces and experiences that are inspiring, engaging, and accessible to all.Earned an M.A. in art history from VCU, specializing in South Asian and Islamic art, and an M.S. in elementary education from Mary Washington, with a specialization in the arts. Has served as a Fulbright Nehru Scholar in India and published several articles on the art and practices of South Asia. While working for various art and history museums, including Telfair Museums, the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, and the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, developed and taught programs on a range of subjects and for various audiences.
