• Lead on identifying, designing, implementing, and configuring technology solutions that consider the business, data, application, and technology domains. Ensure these align with the organisational goals, whilst balancing requirements, cost, risk, data quality standards and end user experience (UX)• Fit requirements to the technology strategy and architecture. Identify need to modify infrastructure architecture to attain project requirements working with internal teams and external suppliers• Produce and review High Level and Detailed Design Documentation for required solutions and, where applicable, be able to translate and present these documents back to technical and non-technical audiences• To lead the technical transition and testing of new solutions into BAU• To act as an authority on the evaluation of emerging infrastructure technologies, cloud solutions and hardware, and incorporate requirements and features in solution designs• Undertake technology innovation opportunities and prototypes to seek and assess the level of interest across the business• Research and contribute on the strategic and tactical direction for technical capabilities within the architecture portfolio• Engage within architectural governance processes; upholding and applying strategic Enterprise Architecture direction• Feed into the establishment and maintenance of design principles, standards, patterns, roadmaps, and transition states that underpin all information technology design and delivery• Actively contribute to the identification of opportunities and issues with the current infrastructure architecture• Contribute to the development of a solution library that encourages the adoption of common techniques across the organisation and reuse of standard patterns• Maintain a broad and up-to-date knowledge of current state and emerging developments across technology areas• To be SME (Subject Matter Expert) for End User Compute (EUC)
