Joined this startup in 1992, and was the initial primary developer of their PaperClip document imaging solution for Windows. As company and development staff grew, managed the efforts of the programming team. Left in 1993 to form own company Bachmann Software.

Brightwork at the time was the leading developer of PC/networking applications for the Novell Netware market. Joined Brightwork to help them develop the first Windows version of their successful NETRemote remote desktop product. Was promoted from programmer to manager of the software development team in 1991, responsible for planning the efforts of 6 developers on 3 different Brightwork products. Met weekly with customer support, QA and company founders to ensure successful execution of all projects.

Joined the Capital Markets group right out of college as a software programmer responsible for developing their first PC-based bond-trading system, delivering real-time portfolio reports and analysis from mainframes to display over the first IBM PC network to be deployed at Prudential. Over the course of five years, rose through the ranks, reaching the management stage before electing to seek out work experience at a series of small software companies and pursue dream of creating commercial software applications for personal and business use.
