I have been a capital markets lawyer for 33 years and a partner for 24 years and have been with Arthur Cox since 2004. I have substantial experience in debt capital markets and structured finance. Recent transactions include:Advising Deutsche Asset Management on the launch of its ETC Platform (Xtrackers) and Amundi on its Gold linked ETC Platform (both under Irish law)Advising the Soc Gen and BAML on Dell Bank's inaugural eurobond (Irish law governed) and advising the underwriters on Bank of Ireland's public bonds.Advising on a substantial number of CLO and other asset backed transactions where the underlying assets are loans of different types, including for Carlyle, Permira and M&G.Advising Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Credit Agricole, BNP Paribas and Morgan Stanley on a number of their flow repackaging vehicles in Ireland.

I started at Allen & Overy as a trainee in 1991 and left as a capital markets partner in November 2003. I worked in London as an associate from 1993 to 1996, then spent three years in Hong Kong and finally moved to Singapore as a partner in 1999. My practice was a broad debt capital markets and structured finance practice, mainly acting for investment banks but with some issuer representation.
