I am a state certified CHOICES/ SHIP (State Health Insurance Program) counselor, and can help individuals on Medicare or Medicaid understand their choices, an AIRS Certified Community Resource Specialist in Aging and Disabilities and have extensive experience and training helping people navigate human service systems.I enjoy working with people from truly diverse backgrounds, listening, problem solving, empowering and being useful to colleagues and consumers alike. My interests include disability rights, affordable housing, accessibility, transportation, emergency preparedness, aging in place, immigration, re-entry, and improving essential service systems that help people live in the communities of their choosing.I believe services must be person-centered, facilitate individual choice, and be respectful of the values and culture of the persons served.
