I really enjoy the challenge of starting off with the customers ideas/dreams and follow them through the finished product, on time and budget - you can't beat he satisfaction of a job well done!

I decided I needed a challenge and started up my own business, around that same time I found out we were expecting our first child. Challenge accepted! I started off small and did alot of small maintenance jobs and a few new-builds and progressively built the business up to be a preferred company of a local rental company, 2x housing companies and a few decent commercial companies along with quite a few smaller builders. I love offering solutions and advice based on my years in the trade and my experiences and going out of my way to deliver first class service. I closed up in 20013 after 7 years of hard graft as having three young kids and running a business was hard work and getting the work/life balance right very hard. It taught me many valuable lessons which I draw on constantly and I moved on with the next challenge in my career.

Imperial College Of Science, Technology And Medicine

Maintenance Electrician at the South Kensington Campus, London. Was a great learning experience due to similar products but different methods of cabling etc. I really enjoyed the experience, I met some really great people in my time at the College and it opened my eyes to other wiring systems.

Started as an Apprentice and left a Qualified Electrician. We did a good variety of top end new homes which were architecturally designed, commercial fitouts and maintenance for some interesting industrial customers. I left here to travel abroad and experience the UK.

Installed various Fire Alarm systems from small units right through to testing Vesda systems at Benmore Power Station. Was an interesting first job and I really enjoyed doing practical stuff after finishing school. I got to the top rank of the technicians before I required Electrical Registration so I went and did a 6 month Pre-Trade and started my Electrical career.
