Glenn Coble has done everything under the sun from acting to selling cars… from university athletic administrator to business owner. He has been a newspaper sports editor and announcer/sportscaster as well as professional musician. Coble says, “I am the person behind the expression, ‘a jack of all trades but a master of none.’”Coble’s self deprivation belies the fact that nearly all of his positions have counted on his skills in communication, public relations and marketing, including the task he has chosen to pursue currently, as Business Development Specialist for the Marion Community Credit Union.He has won national awards for publications, a website, teaching and even selling cars. He was a contributor to Mel Helitzer’s leading text book on sports publicity and marketing, The Dream Job, but he is proudest of another accomplishment he shares with his wife of 41 years, Caryl… raising three award winning college student-athletes, Kris, Amy and Andrew.Today as author of Marion Community Credit Union’s business development and marketing efforts Coble’s involvement includes membership on several community boards including; JA, the Popcorn Festival and the US Open Commission. He is a graduate of the Marion Leadership class of 2006 and has brought the United States Army Field Band to Marion in 2009 and they returned April 7, 2010 and are expected to return in June of 2015.Specialties: Marketing, athletic administration, writing, event planning
