Completed:- A former 100m2 / 20meter deep garage located in the heart of Amsterdam is being transformed into a linear living space. The new intervention reorganizes all living areas around a patio, offering an abundance of daylight right in the core where it is most needed. The collective space to meet with friends is located in the front and gradually shifts into the more private area in the back. While in use, the residents naturally move from front to back, from day to night. The patio is surrounded by a bed, a bath, a study, a sofa and a dining table. The closed spaces are strategically organized in two raw oak masses that create a zig-zag in the residence. Commerced 2014, Construction commerced 2016, Completion July 2019.- Full renovation and interior of a monumental row-house in Van Breestraat Amsterdam. The 300m2 / 5 layers house include a new basement, void and reorganization of the floor plans. (with Elephant) From 2013 to 2015 we worked on 20+ projects for private clients, developers and private organisations, in the field of private housing, office and commercial. The projects include:- an Event space connecting former houses into a single entity for Inn Style BV (built, 2013)- re-organisation of a private plot including a stable in Bergen- several private commissions for the DIY housing plot in Den Haag- a self-initiated building group and concept proposal for a DIY canal house called 'de Hallen-noord' in the center of Amsterdam- a modular and resilient urban concept for a newly planned neighbourhood in Moscow called the Moscow Mall (2013-2015)- a concept proposal for a new hockey clubhouse for M.H.C. Bennebroek.- private commission for the re-organisation and extension of a private house in Haarlem.
