Managing the maintenance program for a City/County Parks Department which includes 25 Parks and Recreation centers and 6 full time maintenance personnel. The maintenance program also includes building maintenance, equipment maintenance, grounds and roadway maintenance, and maintenance operating services.> Responsible for the maintenance/upgrades/restorations of 2 recreation centers; a maintenance compound that includes 6 maintenance buildings; a fleet of vehicles, (which includes: 6 pickup trucks, 4 tractors, 1 dump truck, 4 zero turn mowers, and 4 trailers); 16 restroom facilities; 4 miles of paved roadways, 16 shelter houses, a little league facility that includes 7 ball fields; and 400 acres of park land.> Responsible for overseeing contracted construction projects. > Maintaining and overseeing a maintenance budget. Oversaw Construction, Renovation, and Rehabilitation projects at O’Bannon Woods State park.> Planned, Developed, and controlled the funding for various park projects including; Construction of the park gatehouse; Rehabilitation of the iconic Fire Tower; Rehabilitation of the Manager’s and Assistant Manager’s residence; Rehabilitation of the main park office; and Rehabilitation of the group camp facilities.> General maintenance of park facilities and equipment including but not limited to: electrical repair, plumbing, vehicle repair, welding repair, new construction, and concrete work. > Developed preventative maintenance procedures for the maintenance compound facilities.> Worked with outside contractors, college interns, and volunteers on various park improvement projects.> Assisted the wastewater treatment plant operator in daily functions of the wastewater treatment plant which included: reading gauges, testing water samples, record keeping, laboratory and the repair of pumps and motors at various lift stations.> Assisted the certified pool operator in the treatment of chlorinated pool water. I followed the regular teacher’s lesson plans while instructing each class independently.> I also created lesson plans for regular education classrooms as well as special education classrooms. > I was involved in all functions of instructing various classrooms in a public school setting.

> Production Manager of a production manufacturing facility which produced industrial chemical and paint mixing equipment. I directly managed 16 associates in the production department. > I was the Quality Control Manager and leader of the quality control team. I directly inspected all incoming parts against the blueprints. I also inspected all of the equipment sold before shipment. > Responsible for implementing a maintenance program for the 26,000 square foot manufacturing facility and grounds, all machine equipment, and the fleet of company vehicles.> I was responsible for purchasing all of the maintenance supplies, and responsible for working with outside contractors during construction and renovation projects.> I was also responsible for the following: scheduling all work orders within the production department; tracking and maintaining inventory levels; all functions of the shipping/receiving department; tracking and repairing returned equipment; and performing evaluations and reviews of all production employees.> I was an integral part of the Human Resources Department. As an HR representative, I was responsible for recruiting production and engineering associates. > I also worked within the Customer Service Department.
