As one of three members of the organization’s leadership team, directed a team with responsibility to ensure that communication and marketing efforts support work in policy, advocacy, and resource development. Founded the Portland Opportunity Youth Job Fair.

Served as one of the College's five Executive Committee members. Managed a department responsible for all External Affairs, including Admissions, Community Relations, Outreach, Continuing Education, Marketing, Advertising, and Fundraising. Directed capital campaign to build college's new campus in Old Town Chinatown.

Mayoral appointee to the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board. The Board holds a public meeting monthly, gauging public opinion on issues critical to Denver Parks. The Board makes recommendations to the Parks Department on these issues.

Managed a staff responsible for restoration and educational programming on Denver's largest privately-owned open space. Established strong partnerships and collaborations with parks organizations, national and local conservation NGOs.

Revision International is a Denver-based NGO, with a focus on empowering local communities to adopt actions that lead to global sustainability.

I worked closely with DU faculty in linking areas of expertise with critical community needs, focusing on education and environmental issues in the Denver area. I founded and directed Project Dharamsala, a four-week interterm service learning course in Dharamsala, India, and coordinated six Alternative Break immersion programs annually.

Traveled throughout Colorado, working with governmental (Forest Service, etc.) and nonprofit organizations to develop land restoration and trail building projects. Oversaw the recruitment of volunteers for and management of twelve weekend-long projects each year, ranging in size from 50 to 1400 volunteers.
