Promoted to Assistant Manager from Coordinator. Responsible for 2 Coordinators, 16 team leaders. Leads PDCA activities to reduce rejects. Leads his team to build morale and teach importance of critical processes that could effect not only our customer but the end user by pursuing excellence in manufacturing in day to day operations. Makes decisions to ensure quality not only to the customer but also the end user.As Production Coordinator, Glenn was responsible for 1st shift Assembly area. He was in charge of 11 team leaders and 109 line associates, which relied on him to lead them in making quality automotive lighting parts for their customer. He also worked with his leaders and support groups identifying any quality issues and uses PDCA meetings to narrow down problems with the 5 why's and assigns improvement projects to correct internal and external quality issues. In addition, he kept track of their hours using Kronos, created spreadsheets to track downtime, track quality on assembly lines to look for improvements, product coming to assembly lines, set up meeting with Lotus Notes. Overall, he is to ensure 3rd shift assembly has the tools needed to be successful in efficiency and quality. Glenn was a superuser for C-core which is Stanley's inventory tracking software plus serialization of each OEM part sent to the customer for traceability. When Glenn was a Team Leader he was overseeing the assembly taillight lines.Member of the Quest Circle group in 2006 that presented at the Honda Supplier Conference in Chattanooga, TN, on improving rejects on the Honda Civic Headlight.As member of Quest Circle in 2008, we designed and developed a heater for cover rubbers for all Headlight lines.Responsible for making decisions on quality issues and calling for nurse calls.Responsible for 2S3D on all 6 lines.Specialties: Network+ training, C-Core part tracking software, Kronos, Lotus Notes, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SNAP training for lean manufacturing.
