Acting as Hospital Representative for the P3 (DBFM) Project Agreement I monitor the performance and reporting of the services delivered by the Project Co (primarily Facilities Management). Liaison between the FM services team and Hospital staff, managers and leadership.

Working with a portfolio of Hospitals and Health Care Centres built under a Public Private Partnership (3P) model, known in Ontario as Alternative Financing and Procurement (AFP) Projects. I am administering project agreements related to the facilities maintenance and asset management services provided by the private company partners. I am involved with monitoring levels of service and contractual responsibilities, certification of payments and deductions while also acting as a facilitator in the partnership between the Hospitals and the Private Project Companies in the 30+ year terms of these agreements.

Leading a team of 27 technicians, I was charged with the responsibility for the delivery of scheduled and emergency service to a theatre network of approximately 400 locations in a very demanding environment for continuous, and immediate, response. While managing the responsibilities of the service operations during a period of explosive network growth - almost threefold - I also established, and strengthened, trusted relationships with all the exhibitors and with special emphasis on the two largest cinema chains in the world - Regal and AMC.

Founder and President of Consummate Projects Inc., offering project management services/consulting. Major client IMAX Corporation, contracted for full time project management services and process refinement consultation since February 2005 as part of new company goal for short duration, cinema conversion projects.

Charged with overall performance of the custom projects business segment, ensuring customer satisfaction in concert with delivery on schedule and meeting profitability targets. The Project Group carried a roster of 25-40 active projects and was involved from initial client contact through to on-site commissioning. Established a Project Management Office methodology and project success measurement criteria.

Technological support for new and developing projects, working closely with Business and Sales groups to define and prepare technical and contract proposals for potential projects as well as ongoing management of the IMAX in house theatre design staff and activities throughout the course of a project.

Main contact for clients, design teams and building contractors from the initialization of a project. Overall responsibility to ensure that project was designed, constructed, opened to meet both Client’s and Imax’s specific requirements and contractual expectations. International project base included work in South Africa, Europe, Australia and North America, requiring frequent travel to project locations and familiarity with local business practices.

Served as prime contact for client’s consultants during the course of the design of IMAX Theatres, preparing the IMAX design documents and providing design consultation services to ensure optimum performance, execution, operation, economic success and client satisfaction.
