Growing up I was always fascinated by computers and electronics. At a young age, I saved my odd job money to purchase my first computer. I taught myself a couple languages to program it, and my electrical engineering uncle gave me a schematic and some parts to build a wire-wrapped board to interface to my computer. It is this fascination that drives me to learn new and different technologies so I can have fun bringing success to my career.Now I am a systems engineer improving software/hardware systems’ efficiency, cost impact, resulting performance, user experience, etc., through problem solving, innovation, leadership, and drive for success. I constantly develop/improve technology in the present with an eye towards the future.I was the architect, lead, and developer for three generations of Non-Destructive Examination Systems, the first within the initial 12 months of employment. It revolutionized the product line, increasing revenue by 250% and orders entered by 500%. Each generation involved software development, hardware development, and overall system reconfiguration. I was able to maintain backward compatibility while improving performance and usability.As a project manager, I applied my problem-solving skills to meet project schedule and budget.
