Manage a team in excess of 30 software engineers in the Software Engineering Community of Excellence providing .Net development expertise in the State, Local Government and Education division (SLED) for H-P. Development efforts include: Corporate Hierarchy Facility application used to set WIPS and permissions to insurance processing system; BizTalk Insurance Scoring System provides Insurance Co. with the ability to order, save and retrieve credit score information for auto and homeowner lines of business. Developed the Configuration Management Database and Server Inventory applications and implemented an e-Commerce Life Insurance Quoting system. Developed a web based enterprise application for Insurance Co. PMS mainframe system for mariner policy quoting integrated with MQSeries. Developed an application to integrate a web front end via MQSeries to mainframe system for credit card authorizations. Worked on Agile team to web enable a mainframe based Insurance processing System front end . Provide a variety of support for PMIC Shared Services intranet site. This data driven site provides box designers from a variety of companies with the ability to securely and collaboratively upload/download box designs. It provides repository support for new and existing box designs with a rich query capability and is still in use today. Additional enterprise web development includes an internal time tracking system built around MS Access database and Visual Interdev, upgrading purchasing web site with additional database capability including web maintenance of database and other static web site work. All server side scripting based on MS active server page ADO technology with focus on Visual Basic and JavaScript scripting languages. Act as developer and consultant with Timberlands IT business unit to generate web based maps on the fly. Other development efforts included client/Server development using VB 6.0 to develop land acquisition/disposition automation system. Provide VB mentoring and support for exchange server client applications and deployment. Interface with Oracle, SQL Server, GIS database, and a variety of disparate RDBMS to collect and present information for web deployment.
