I had my start integrating POS (Btrieve MS-DOS based system) systems for small businesses in the mid 1980s. For over 25 years I have been involved in software design and implementation for various companies in the Southern California area. My skills include, but are not limited to: .NET Development, Database Design and Implementation, C#, WCF, WPF, Web Services, Web Applications, Windows Services, Desktop Applications, Windows Store Apps, Embedded Systems (Motorola, Rabbit Semiconductor), Hand-Held Devices (Telxon, Psion, Palm OS), and more. My strengths include an intuitive, innovative, and inspired perspective on software architecture, and implementation. I am able to look at software not just from an engineering and architectural perspective, but from an end user perspective in terms of performance and usability.Creating software is just plain fun. An art as much as a science it is still so appealing to me on many levels.I've been doing it for many years and it never fails to intrigue me as new technology emerges giving us even more ways to express creative solutions to new, as well as legacy issues that confront us in business, as well as in our personal lives.It is my experience that all the technical skills in the world do not take the place of integrity. People come first. Relationships come first. If we really care about the welfare of others we can really care about our colleagues, and our company. Ultimately only really caring about the people that use our software can take us all where we really want to go.
