Glenn uses more than 20 years of combined industry and tax consulting experience to develop practical tax processes that are tailored to specific business and regulatory requirements. Recently, Glenn served key functional roles in several provision and tax process optimization projects. These projects included the conversion and migration of a legacy tax basis to an enterprise resource planning system, assistance in developing automation via tax sensitizing SAP and training tax on how to maximize their use of SAP, and assistance in integrating tax provision tools such as OneSource and Corptax into the tax provision and return processes.Glenn specializes in transforming the tax function and provision process for large global companies. Glenn is a frequent speaker at the tax reporting tool vendor user’s conferences (e.g. Corptax and OneSource) on techniques and experiences to address many of the common and complex issues facing large global tax functions. He also frequently collaborates with the vendor services and development teams to co-develop tailored client solutions that will be integrated into the core product, thus reducing risk of costly upgrades of custom solutions. Glenn also has significant experience assisting clients with planning their Sarbanes-Oxley 404 compliance and remediating control weaknesses. This includes successful remediation of a tax material weakness for a Fortune 100 global company. Prior to joining EY, Glenn led a team responsible for tax systems, training and processes that supported a tax department with more than 250 tax professionals worldwide.

Worked in the tax department for most of my career at Enron. At the end I led the Tax Solutions Team which was responsible supporting the processes and technology of the entire tax department which had over 250 professionals worldwide.
