Followed the 30 year window sales year career of his father: Ralph LaPorte. One of the four original salesmen for Silver Line Windows. When he started they had 1 plant making about 10,000 windows per year... at his retirement there were 9 facilities making over 27,000 windows per day. He brought me in for an interview, and in the year 2000- I took a chance, and never looked back. At that time I started in the Multi Residential and Commercial Aluminum market in New Jersey. Andersen Windows purchased the company in 2006, and in 2007 I was transferred to Chicago as a business development rep for the luxury home market. In 2020 I have moved back to the commercial arena with Christopher Glass & Aluminum providing solutions for the building envelope such as curtain wall & window wall, storefront aluminum entrances for the high rise market. In 2021 I accepted the Customer Service and Sales manager role in the Storefront Aluminum Entrances manufacturing division. These and other exciting opportunities allowed me further exposure in this fast paced commercial market. I am now with Pella Windows and Doors and hope to bring this opportunity to its fullest potential.
