About Glenn Leithner

I currently oversee projects from sales inquiry to installation and commissioning as well as customer service for new and used products. This includes quoting, design, parts ordering, programming, and assembly for both standard equipment and custom systems. I have done this hands on and as a manager overseeing up to 11 employees.I have been in the Automation field starting as a programmer for over 24 years. I have always quickly progressed to take on further rolls that include my mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, such as field service and help with assembly when needed. I have been using Siemens for over 17 years including Siemens S7, Step 7, Tia Portal, WinCC, WinCC Flex, ProTool, G120 Drives, MM320 Drives, and MM420 Drives. Although I have not used Master Drive that I can recall I'm confident I could quickly learn it. I have controlled a custom Baumüller drive through a PROFIBUS connection and I am very familiar using a variety of drives using analog controls. I have always developed good relationships with customers.I have always also had an interest in computers and networking. I have setup the original network at S.P.E.C. using Novel Netware. I took the tests and became a Microsoft Windows XP MCP, MCSE, and MCDBA in 2003 to 2006. At Gruber Systems I am largely in charge of maintaining the network.
