Led all proposal pricing, contract negotiations and contract management activities for the company (DRS Technologies Canada).• By committing two years of time and 24 solo trips to Venezuela, resulting in building personal relationships and understanding the Venezuelan contracting process, negotiated a complex $15M contract with the Government of Venezuela and Export Development Corporation Results: Signed a 400 page contract one year earlier than predicted at profit levels higher than projected (5%-7% higher)

Member of the Flat Panel Display Product Management Team, responsible for the future direction of the Flat Panel Display product line, including preparation and execution of Business Plans, sales & marketing and research & development activities. Also performed Product/Program/Contract management activities for production flat panel display programs. · Realized a 45% reduction in costs and 35% reduction in turn around time by designing and implementing a process for “fast track” repair and overhaul, from receipt of goods through their repair and shipping including automatic cost analysis and customer pricing· Achieved no disruption to production flow or customer deliveries by planning and implementing the Sales Order Module including development of Training Modules for the successful integration of a new ERP system• Created and implemented a Product Line Business Plan for the flat panel displays product line in order to secure internal investment and a 5 year business plan Results: Increased product line revenues from $4M to over $20M over a 4 year period.

Contracts and subcontracts administration of the company’s research and development contracts as well as program management duties on these contracts. Contract and subcontract administration responsibility for other major spares and Electronic Warfare systems equipment· Achieved 95% supplier delivery performance and no cost variance to budget of a complex electronics system deployed on Canadian submarines by negotiating and executing a subcontract with major overseas vendor including executing on a Performance Measurement System· Satisfied 100% of the Industrial Benefit obligations and avoided financial penalties on the CPF Program by brokering an agreement between Philips Electronics and the Government of Canada
