My objective is to modernize WRAPS – make it more performant, stable, and maintainable; to provide a modern, responsive user interface; and to streamline business processes and workflows. My project is a multi-year project of re-implementing USRAP on a Java platform and retiring legacy code components. Our modernized WRAPS (W2) is built with Spring, Liquibase, MyBatis, Google Web Toolkit (GWT) and other Java ecosystem tools. I advise the project manager and customer on strategic IT initiatives. I figure out alternatives, assess feasibility, perform proofs of concept, create implementation plans, resource teams, estimate schedules, and manage teams to deliver results. Have delivered numerous releases and features that have helped USRAP meet increased annual refugee arrival goals over multiple years.I drive process improvement and innovation.
