As a consultant for more than 40 years, Glenn Parker has helped create high-performing teams at hundreds of organizations including Novartis Pharmaceuticals, Merck & Company, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Philips-Van Heusen, Telcordia Technologies, BOC Gases, and the U. S. Coast Guard. He currently is a consultant to Accenture where he has developed numerous online courses in professional and leadership development, including the recent webinar, Positive Influence: Finding People Who Can Help You Be Your Best Self. He is an internationally recognized workshop facilitator, organizational consultant, and conference speaker in the area of teamwork, collaboration and team meetings. Glenn is the author or co-author of some 18 books including the best-sellers Cross Functional Teams: Working with Allies, Enemies and other Strangers; and Team Players and Teamwork: New Strategies for Developing Successful Collaboration; widely used instruments such as the Parker Team Player Survey (which has sold more than one million copies) and manuals for practitioners such as 50 Activities for Team Building and Team Depot: A Warehouse of 585 Tools to Reassess, Rejuvenate and Rehabilitate Your Team. His seminal work on team player styles was featured in the best-selling CRM video, Team Building II: What Makes A Good Team Player? Other books include Rewarding Teams: Lessons from the Trenches and Meeting Excellence: 33 Tools to Lead Meetings That Get Results.He is also co-author of Positive Influence: The Leader Who Helps People Become Their Best Self (2020) and Positive Influence: Leadership in a Time of Crisis (2023) which won a Goody Business Book Award in the most competitive category: Leadership: Think Differently.Glenn is one of only 75 management thinkers recognized in the book, The Guru Guide. In his spare time, he is an active volunteer with the American Cancer Society (ACS). In 2003 he co-founded the Father’s Day event, RUN FOR DAD to raise awareness about the dangers of prostate cancer.
