Quebec Anglophone Heritage Network: I am currently the Digital Media Specialist with the Quebec Anglophone Heritage Network (QAHN). Here I have been using my background in tech to help QAHN and its member organizations transition to online events and heritage presentations using a combination of video conferencing software, live streaming, social media, and broadcast production software. From 2019-2020, I directed their project "A Different Tune: Musical Heritage in English-speaking Quebec" which was funded by Canadian Heritage and brought together over 150 musicians from across Quebec to share their musical heritage through field recordings, oral history interviews, blog posts, research articles, and over twenty live streamed events co-hosted with our member organizations.Memorial University of Newfoundland: I am currently working on a PhD in Ethnomusicology. My research interests focus on the musical cultures of Quebec's English-speaking communities from 1780 to the present. I am interested in the intersection of cultural memory, digital archives, and community-engaged research methods. Most of my research has been with the English-speaking minority of the Gaspé Peninsula in collaboration with a local health, social services, and culture organization for this community.
