I am currently an International Trade Manager working with early stage exporters, and developing a range of solutions to support them to sell outside Northern Ireland. I have 29+ year’s experience, working with Entrepreneurs, SME’s and larger businesses helping them to grow and scale their companies. I have experience in providing exporting and trade Innovation, business strategy, finance, marketing and skills development advice across many sectors and I have helped a range of local and international businesses with funding and growth. I also have an extensive business network within the business community, key stakeholder groups and Government both in Northern Ireland and Internationally.I have also worked for a period of his career in San Francisco, Silicon Valley with US businesses and investors and delivered a number of inward investment projects to the UKI led the development of the Northern Ireland Digital Content Strategy, working closely with key local industry representatives, Digital Circle and the Software Industry Sector Body Momentum NI. This was the agreed blueprint for growing the sector in Northern Ireland and has led to an increase in investments, collaborative networks, skills initiatives and additional Government support for the sector.I also played a key role in developing and implementing Invest NI's Entrepreneurship Action Plan and supporting businesses and partners across Northern Ireland with solutions including new start-up support programmes, the My New Business NI Portal, From Student to first Sale and the appointment of an Entrepreneurship Ambassador for Northern Ireland.
