In 1985, at the age of sixteen, I was given the opportunity to look at things a little differently. A bird’s eye view of the world from some of the tallest buildings on the globe gave me the vision to see a little further. Over the years working from the top’s of the Rialto, Etihad Stadium and Eureka Tower, I could see opportunities to provide an elevated level of client service and contract management in this highly regulated industry and a new company was born.As the Co Founder and Managing Director of VERTIMAX Australia, Donna and I established this business to further develop our reputation as a leading independent Australian owned vertical transport and property maintenance company. With extensive experience in the Lift, BMU, Height Safety and façade services industries, I established and grew a maintenance service company from 1999 to 2012. Prior to that I spent 13 years working within the Lift & BMU Industry beginning as an Apprentice Electrician with Johns Perry Lifts in 1986 and finishing my final years with Otis Elevators and Otis Building Technologies (OBT) in 1999. I now advise building management representatives on the history of the plant and machinery.As a Special Class Electrician, a Registered Electrical Contractor and a Registered Building Practitioner my expertise and know how is valued by our clients. I hold worksafe licenses & can complete high-risk works in Boom Operated Platforms, Fork Lift Driving, Confined Space, Dogman and C6 Crane Operation.
