Responsible for Storage Commodity global service requirements. Forecast, plan, and coordinate the required level of fill rates for field service sites. Manage defective return repairs and warranty repairs with third parties or OEM’s. Plan last time buys for life cycles. Manage obsolescence of defective and non-moving inventory.• Coordinated meetings, department events and special functions• Purchase and plan for commodities, in support of Global field service.• Manage in and out of warranty repairs for numerous OEM and suppliers based on product plans RSL.• Plan for target stock levels for storage products, based on FY Qtr budget allocation & demand.• Manage weekly Ins and Outs metric for reporting QTD inventory dollars and volumes.• Provide forecasts to multiple vendors for demand requirements.• Coordinate with defective stockroom for shipment of defective material to suppliers for warranty repair.• Manage and resolve receiving and accounts payable discrepancies.• Coordinate quarterly Obsolescence of excess material in stock.• Work with supplier Management for supplier qualification.• Work escalations for critical customer down situations.• Expedite material from excess inventory and field Stockrooms; update purchase orders for incoming receipts.
