Coveris Holdings was a $2.5B global flexible packaging company which was private equity owned by Sun Capital which extruded, printed and converted specialized and complex flexible packaging solutions. In early 2017, Sun Capital merged 3 of the 7 Coveris Holdings Business Units to form Coveris Americas and then integrated and sold the newly created and independently operated $1B company in May of 2018 to Transcontinental Inc. [TSE: TCL.A], a $2.5B Canadian leader in printing and flexible packaging.
