I am formerly the Managing Director of Aspire SRS Pty Ltd, a South-East Queensland based financial planning practice, with offices at Aspley (Head Office), Gold Coast & Sunshine Coast. I was ultimately responsible for ensuring our professional, ethical & client-focused philosophies are embraced within our Practice. My professional career provides a unique mix of qualifications, skills & experience to successfully deliver on the Aspire SRS vision & strategy. This includes the accounting, taxation, superannuation, estate planning, strategy & management skills developed during my Chartered Accounting, Taxation Manager, Strategy & Financial Planning roles, as well as from being a small business owner. I am also a qualified tradesman panel beater.Nurturing a strong family environment & thus spending time with my wife & 3 boys is important to me.My interest in cycling has coupled well over the last 3 years with participation in various charity rides for the Heart Foundation, MS & Diabetes, with my main fundraising focus being the Ride to Conquer Cancer. My final Conquer Cancer ride was in August 2013, where supporters helped me raise approx. $27,000, to complement the $34,000 raised in 2012 & $32,000 raised in 2011, to bring the total to over $93,000 in 3 years.I am also a passionate supporter of the Blood Bank, having recently achieved a milestone of reaching 200 donations.
