In this condensed overview you will find information about my work experience and activities in the IT branche.- Web hosting, providing web services to our customers.- Network Administration, generally in MS Windows based environments:Network management (keeping track of capacity, functionality, security and integrity), end-user support and hardware/software maintenance of company networks during daily workflow.Networks are infrastructures of connected and communicating servers, workstations, printers and other hardware (touchable components) that "make the network" like routers, switches, Wires and Wireless accesspoints. Organizational networks nowadays (depending on their size and functionality) require high availability, reliability and quality which means intensive care of every single component within the network. Downtime of a webserver hosting a webshop for example, can turn out into a disaster for commercial companies which are fully depending on their on-line income. That's just one part out of thousands that makes my job such exciting, finding a way to prevent network downtime and issues by tuning the right combination of soft and hardware without losing the functionality and friendliness to the end-users. Future Goals..A Cisco (market leader in corporate networking) certificate like CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) always had my interest.Specialties: Broad knowledge of different IT aspects, not specialized in one particular system or branche. But if I must push one in front of the others.. Let's say, my Windows Server platform knowledge. Untill now i always tried to keep my knowledge as wide as possible.
