An accomplished CFO, Vice President of Finance, Controller, Speaker/Panelist, and Strategist with over 25+ years of significant business and management experience. During my career, I have raised series A, B, and C private equity rounds, installed bridge loans, executed multiple acquisitions, established global supply chain management functions and processes, opened six offices overseas, handled audit/tax/international tax functions, implemented risk management programs, designed process improvements, enhanced internal controls, managed investor relations, and built best practice financial functions. Critical tactical contributions include negotiating capital/private equity raises, strategic planning, treasury management, and overhauling every technology that drives financial planning, reporting, and business systems. Specific to technology, I have designed and implemented global ERP systems, developed company-wide disaster recovery programs, created financial reporting tools and dashboards, initiated new budgeting systems and processes, installed cap table and stock option management software, introduced monthly close management software systems for improved financial accuracy and speed, and employed new sales and use tax systems. Prior to AccuWeather, I launched the first ever financial consulting practice in the Mid-Atlantic for Hudson Highland Group in 2007 and grew it over $3M+ in annual revenues in less than two years. While serving as a Regional Managing Director at ParenteBeard from 2010 to 2013, I was solely responsible for securing over $4M of new audit, tax, and Sarbanes-Oxley projects for the firm. I was asked by the CEO at ParenteBeard to develop and teach all 21 offices my successful business development practices and philosophies.Frequent speaker at both the annual CFO.com Controller Summits in Boston (4 years), as well as the Annual AICPA Conferences (2018 & 2019).
