Responsible for a large and diverse estate, including total facilities, design, contract and project management. Managing numerous senior teams, covering all areas of infrastructure engineering and land managementA strategic operational manager and planner, responsible for coordinating infrastructure projects throughout the UK and overseas bases.Managing all statutory compliance, H&S, environmental legislation. Implementing a full planned preventative maintenance programme delivered through a high end CAFM system.Managing a £7 million budget with a fine degree of accuracy delivering projects on time on cost and to the highest standards.

Afghanistan

A vast and complex multi national estate comprising of 35,000 troops and over 100 construction teams.With a highly qualified, multi disciplined technical workforce of 600 staff and a £5 million per month infrastructure budget, this life changing position would have been one of the highlights in any infrastructure and project managers CV.Immensely operationally challenging, this successful 7 months provided the opportunity to use my complete suite of management and technical skills to the highest level. Dealing with heads of numerous international facilities and construction companies at a strategic level and on a daily basis.
