Provide leadership for the development of the organization's strategic technology planning and implementation. This includes the creation of long term technology plans and short term execution plans. Also, provide management oversight for day-to-day delivery of technology services.

Taught 1st, 2nd, 5th, and 6th grades. Volleyball and Basketball Coach• Developed and implemented daily and unit lesson plans.• Administered assessments and analyzed student performance.• Fostered a safe positive classroom environment.• Integrated technology into daily lessons leading to increased motivation.• Implemented an innovative co-teaching process for teaching combined grades.Results: Chugwater, Wyoming's elementary is a small rural school. So small that the grades were set up as combined classrooms. 1st and 2nd grades which I taught during my first two years were combined. I found that the disparity in ability between 1st graders and 2nd graders was untenable for a combined classroom. As the only teacher in the classroom I realized early on that I would only be able to give either grades half my time and thus half an education. At the same time I noticed a very capable teacher's aide was being underutilized. So as a result of my strong desire to not allow my students to get less than what they deserved, which was an excellent education, I enlisted her as a teaching partner. I still designed the lessons and taught the coursework but her ability to continue to guide and manage one grade while I was working with the other enabled us to give them a full education. There were some doubters including the principal. I convinced them to let us continue. In the end, the achievement scores showed that our efforts had paid off. The next year the principal implemented dedicated teachers' aides in both the combined grades for 3rd & 4th and 5th & 6th.

I took a non-functional Apple computer lab and spent nights and weekends teaching myself about networking in order to create a computer lab. With the knowledge I attained I was able to accomplish this goal and with that small lab of computers was able to take my students on many "virtual field-trips". It is easy to forget what a huge advancement this was for a small rural town then, given the ubiquity of online connectivity in today's age. Next, I implemented and configured a web and email server; a first for the district. I then taught myself HTML and created a website for the district. As a result of my web programming knowledge, Educational Service Unit #15 in Trenton, NE invited me to provide professional development to other districts' computer coordinators on web page design.In May of 2000 I was honored to be invited back to Hayes Center to give the High School Commencement Address for the class of 2000. The graduates were my first class of 5th grade students from 1993 and it was a privilege to be invited back to share their special day.
