When Bank One was acquired by JPMorgan, my role became that of Market Manager/Regional Client Advisor for Kentucky and West Virginia - specifically for institutional clients with $5 million to $75 million in assets. Maintained offices and managed staff in both states. My responsibility was to retain $450 million in assets and to gather new assets through building strong relations with clients, advisors, executive directors, trustees, and custody accounts, non-profits entities, government agencies, and corporations - all of whom were my clients. I reported monthly to the city council and mayor, was a member of the senior leadership council for the bank in both West Va and Kentucky wherein I secured $30 million in new assets to the bank in 2005 and a similar number in 2004. Lead contact for large Investment/Trust clients. Served with senior officers of the bank on the market leadership team. Dealt regularly with high net worth individuals and heads of corporations in the effective design and implementation of an investment program and on the legal, fiduciary, and accounting aspects of retirement plan management. Consulted clients on the asset allocation of their portfolios, made investment and sales presentations to boards, CEO’s, bankers, and high net worth individuals. Conducted client quarterly investment reviews and annual reviews. Developed opportunities to introduce clients to additional solutions by gaining an understanding of their needs, then leading them to our menu of solutions, including short-term investments, alternative assets, securities lending, wealth plans, insurance, etc..Deepened relationships and achieved high incidence of client retention through actively seeking to understand client needs, consistent delivery of promised services, calling on them regularly, proactive consultative service reviews, and conducting relevant meetings and employee education seminars, etc.
