For 4 years I was head of Navigon's business unit for precise navigation products, concentrating on GPS receivers by NovAtel and CMC Electronics.Additionally, I acted as consultant in selection of GPS receivers for in-car navigation systems and responsible for procuring those receivers in Asia and North America.

At GPS Gear I was responsible for technical quotations, price agreements with suppliers, as well as preparing presentations and talks for the management. On top of this, I was creating tailored solutions for GPS customers.During this time I worked with GPS receivers made by Sercel, Trimble, Ashtech and NovAtel.Later I acted as consultant for our development of an in-car navigation system, first based on laptops, later PDAs.

At AIT I did field and office work as a surveyor, mainly for road planning, railway and other large scale projects.Additionally, I was head of support for the German support of the surveying and road planning CAD solution SDRmap (TrimCAD in Germany), a product by Datacom New Zealand (a division of Trimble).
