Served as a communications strategist for Presidents’ Council for Disability Inclusion in Philanthropy Recognizing disability as a key element of social justice, diversity, equity, and inclusion, the Presidents of the Ford and Robert Wood Johnson Foundations convened 16 foundation presidents in 2019 and asked them to make a five-year commitment to work together as the Presidents’ Council on Disability Inclusion in Philanthropy.

Advanced the foundation’s equity agenda by creating and implementing marketing and communications strategies that focused on: 1) strengthening internal communications, 2) listening to the community, 3) positioning the foundation, 4) increasing awareness of the equity agenda, 5) creating meaningful engagement opportunities, and 6) building an external communications framework that captures attention and drives a targeted narrative shift. Served as SFF communications lead on several partnership initiatives, including Partnership for the Bay’s Future (Chan Zuckerberg Initiative), Keep Oakland Housed (Kaiser Permanente), Bay Area Equity Atlas (PolicyLink), Schools and Communities First, Oakland Goes Outdoors, and handled the media for the 2016 $1 million pledge from the San Francisco 49ers.
