I am a partner in the Atlanta office of Goodman McGuffey, LLP. My practice concentrates on insurance coverage and bad faith/extra-contractual litigation. Prior to joining Goodman McGuffey, LLP I practiced as in-house legal counsel for Safeco Insurance Company. In addition to insurance coverage and extra-contractual litigation, I have experience in general civil litigation, and insurance defense litigation. I received my B.A. in English from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. in 1996. While attending Georgetown, I rowed on the varsity crew team. I earned my Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law in 1999. I have been admitted to practice law in Georgia since 1999. Immediately after law school I spent a two year term clerking for the Honorable Mary E. Staley in the Cobb County Superior Court. I am a current member of the State Bar of Georgia and have served as national coverage counsel for several different insurance companies.I speak nationwide on topics including insurance coverage, construction defect litigation, bad faith, and fraud.
