Co-Founder and Executive Director of Born Strong Martial Arts, part of Born Strong Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit martial arts school based in East Dallas, TX. BSMA is committed to strengthening the community by offering accessible martial arts training to underprivileged and low-income families. Our mission is to instill discipline, moral fortitude, and strong character in individuals by teaching the core values of respect, perseverance, and responsibility. Through our structured programs, we empower participants by enhancing their confidence, providing essential self-defense skills including but not limited to violence prevention, fire-arm violence prevention, fostering anti-bullying, and fostering a supportive environment for physical, mental, and emotional growth. By removing barriers to access, we aim to make a lasting, positive impact on the lives of young people and the broader community.

Oversee and manage operations, culture, systems and sales of 3 Premier Martial Arts locations in DFW. Plan and manage internal and external events. Develop marketing strategies and community involvement. Organize team schedules and trainings, while continuing to fulfill my role of Program Director in both our Lakewood and Lake Highlands locations.

Coastal fine dining and picturesque views in Los Angeles’ harbor. I booked and managed all private and group dining clients, as well as restaurant exclusives. Outreach and networking were key skills in this position, as well as strong hospitality and communication skills. Working fluidly with the Chefs and operations team was a strong suit of mine, and my attention to detail aided in the execution of our private dining. Cafe del Rey’s clients had an expectation to be met, which I happily achieved. Private dining sales were exceeding budgets, but due to COVID-19, the restaurant closed. I’ve relocated to DFW, TX (home) to focus on music projects and new opportunities.

Retired Southern Rock project. Self produced/co-produced and released 3 albums under Glitter Rose, gained 12 endorsements from companies like TELEFUNKEN Elektroakustik, Gibson Acoustic, Orange Amps, and Warrior Guitar. Performed at Musikmesse in Frankfurt, Germany for Montarbo in 2014 and opened for Brad Paisley at the Saban Theater Beverly Hills in 2017. Was a regular performer at The NAMM Show and the Dallas Intl. Guitar Festival from 2009-2013. Released 4 music videos directed by Amy Campione, one of which was the title track for the independent feature film American Girl. I was the Music Director for a short film musical, which was a 48 Hour Film Project titled “How To: The Musical”. I was the sole songwriter in all these endeavors. I also hosted charity concerts and regular open mic nights during this project.

Sales Manager for Sterling Venue Ventures. I oversee and manage the sales team for 5 venues across Southern CA. My roles include setting goals for the Sales team, helping them achieve those goals through brainstorming and accountability, recruiting new clients through outreach and networking, managing all Special/Private Event accounts and contracts with services including catering, venue rental, event staffing and management, and marketing and promotions for public concert events. In addition to Sales Manager, I was the Assistant General Manager of our Pasadena location. I resigned from this position to free myself up to look for opportunities with other employers and to do more freelance Event work.

Managed staff, operations and event nights at The Rose Pasadena, a high volume, 1500 capacity concert venue and event center. Did scheduling, led pre-shifts, data entry and menu creation for Aloha POS system, handled customer complaints, did marketing and promotions, and managed payroll expenses through pro-active scheduling and cutting. My roll as floor manager was extended longer than planned due to my ability to keep the floor running smoothly and my ability to put customers at ease and manage staff. I also became Assistant General Manager and Sales Manager in January 2017.

I did jewelry photo editing and phone sales for Zoe Lev, formerly Letters by Zoe. I did cold calls to businesses nationwide to introduce the brand, and sign business owners up to our online wholesale ordering platform. I built a small client list, but mainly focused efforts on photo editing and my other sales position at the time.

I initiated relationships with local businesses and set appointments for our sales manager to sell advertising in the Jewish Directory (now closed). My appointments had an 80% closing rate, and a very large commitment had to be made by the business owner before the sales manager would visit the business. My skill sets that propelled me in this position is my interpersonal skills, my ability to cold call, my work ethic and my follow up with clients.

I established my rock band, Hollywood High, right before turning 16 years old. We were influenced by Motley Crue, Guns n' Roses, Blondie, and No Doubt. Our music video "Rock n Roll Peep Show" swept indie music channels across American and we worked with notable producer Dito Godwin. We were a favorite on Dallas' 97.1 The Eagle, toured to Los Angeles, CA performing at the Whisky a GoGo, Dragonfly, The Viper Room, and performed at the 2004 Los Angeles Music Awards. We were also awarded Outstanding New Artist at the Los Angeles Music Awards and Music Connection's Top 100 Unsigned Artists in 2004.
