Estate Planning:• Create Documents: Will, Trust, Certificate of Trust, Durable Power of Attorney, Advance Health Care Directive, Transfer Deeds, ByPass Trust, Special Needs Trust, Amendments, Codicils, Letters of Instructions, etc.;• Thorough initial consultation to determine client’s goals, objectives, and documents needed;• Provide a basic explanation of Estate Planning and purpose of each document as well as tax considerations;• Determine the estate planning documents necessary to meet client’s goals;• If more than one approach satisfies client’s goals, an explanation of the options is given for client to consider;• Upon death of first spouse, a review of estate documents is conducted to determine whether a By Trust, Exemption Trust, or A/B Trust is required to create or any other necessary actions;• Review current estate planning documents and advise on changes that meet current law;• Lodge will with Superior Court of decedent’s residence;• Provide home, hospital, and skill nursing facility visits; and• Complete work in an appropriate timeframe.

Trust Administration:• Conduct thorough consultation with trustee(s) of estate;• Thorough review and summary of estate planning documents, identifying all beneficiaries, heirs, estate assets, and important actions to be taken with sensitive timelines;• Evaluate and determine amount of liquid assets, how to handle real property interests and business entities within trust assets and non-trust assets;• Evaluate and determine all trust liabilities;• Evaluate and determine tax implications, supervise tax filing;• Evaluate, create, and fund sub-trust;• Supervise distribution of trust assets and accounting; and • Terminate trust after administration.

Automobile Accident / Personal Injury:• Conduct thorough consultation with injured;• Communicate and negotiate with defendant’s insurance company or client’s insurance company under uninsured/underinsured policy is applicable;• Closely follow all developments of case and communicate them to client with explanation of the affect to client’s case;• Regularly review and maintain medical bills, medical records, wage loss, and other necessary documents;• Investigate all aspect of case;• Communicate and provide needed documents demanded by government entities;• Aggressively represent and protect client’s position during settlement;• File complaint, conduct thorough discovery, and vigorously negotiate settlement in alternative dispute resolution (negotiation, arbitration, mediation, etc.) or trial.
