I am the Editor of several notable books, including "Ethical Global Citizenship Education" (Cambridge University Press), "Conversations on Global Citizenship Education" (Routledge), and "The Emergence of the Ethically Engaged University" (Springer). I am interested in education programs that help students and youth develop the values and knowledge they need to thrive in the 21st century. I have examined and designed programs in the areas of global learning, global education, bilingual education and intercultural education. I am passionate about making education institutions relevant to the needs and opportunities that exist in the world, including the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). I believe Universities can contribute to the social and economic development of the communities of which they are a part and I engage in various initiatives aligned with that goal. I also enjoy creating collaborations that create value and synergies in addressing complex adaptive education challenges.
