Building secure, reliable, and cost effective IT systems to address evolving business priorities.I started my independent consulting practice, Globalize Networks, in 2005 after working for several years as a systems engineer at Itron with their hosted Enterprise Energy Management offering. In the years since, I have worked as a senior technologist with existing client IT groups, and also overseeing outsourced IT services for clients without an internal IT group. For IT outsourcing clients, I manage desktop support associates, serve as a technical escalation path, do project planning, and develop budgets, policies, and procedures.I am also an aspiring futurist and started blogging more seriously about this topic in 2012.
