Chief, Portfolio Strategy Division (Logistics)
CurrentChief, Portfolio Strategy Division - HQDA G-46, Enterprise Systems. Serves as the senior Army Logistics subject matter expert for logistics information management policies and procedures and as special advisor and consultant to the Director, G-46 Enterprise Support and the Deputy Chief of Staff G-4 on logistics information management matters. Leads the Army's logistics Defense Business Systems (DBS) efforts to develop and implement policy and conduct governance activities supporting the Army's strategic business goals. Provides support, management and oversight of the Army's logistics DBS requirements and certification activities. Responsible for managing all aspects of the annual Army logistics information systems and portfolio review, conforming to all laws, DoD instruction, and Army policy. Serves as the G-4 point-of-contact for proposed investments in those capabilities managed by Business Mission Area (BMA) and Warfighter Mission Area (WMA). Provides advice and counsel to G-4 leadership on applicable Federal, OSD, and Joint Staff governance doctrine. Represents the G-4 in logistics information forums, conferences and meetings with top level representatives from DOD, DLA, CSA, Defense Agencies, other military services, other federal agencies, and Congressional staff concerning major logistics business information systems policies, program objectives and plans. Maintains close working relationships with the ACOMs, DA Staff, DOD and other agencies in the logistics information area through communications with peers and senior leaders.
