As the head of the legal, national and international departments, I was able to develop and strengthen strategies in order to set-up transparency, data privacy and gender equality within the organization. This contribution has led me to work harder in the protection of the assets mentioned before. Furthermore, I was the head of the Unit of Transparency and President of the Transparency Committee as well. I was part of the transition team that shifted to the current Mexican transparency system that helped complying with the requirements of the national framework. At the same time, I collaborated to set-up the Ethics Committee and some other mechanisms to address conflicts and issues in this matter. It is important to highlight that I closely helped the specialists to make a change and combat sexual harassment.

I provided support to the Company by drafting and negotiating a considerable number of agreements with the firm attempt to minimize the risks and negative impacts in all different forms.I had the possibility and the opportunity to be part of a large number of high-level negotiations that resulted in the reach of important agreements for the business.

I was honored to be appointed by my supervisor as “Office Leader”. This high-leveled responsibility activity implied the development of a fine-level control over a vast number of information and collect a great deal of data in a in a systematic and appropriate way. The foregoing, at the same time I performed my primary role.Therefore, on September 2013, Mexico was hit by the hurricane Ingrid and the tropical storm Manuel which converged forces and caused flooding and landslides across the country. Having more than 1 million people affected by the storms, the responsiveness of the Mexican Government was tested by nature and as Director of Normativity and Leader of the office I had the opportunity to address this challenge from my sphere of activity by leading teams to provide the former Mexican President and my supervisors with accurate information to make decisions within minutes and under a great deal of pressure through the coordination of high-level meetings and work with the emergency-affected locations as well.

During my collaboration as Deputy Director, I worked with an extraordinary group of lawyers with a strong sense of commitment and engagement through the contribution with the analysis, the draft and the publication of a wide range of documents such as regulations and law initiatives.One outstanding example is the publication of the new internal regulation which involved the participation of a large number of areas and departments that I considered particularly challenging. Fortunately, the project was published on time in accordance with the participants opinion and the needs and scope of the organization. In most of the meetings I was honored to lead the negotiations on behalf of the Legal Affairs Office.
