I am a young professional with a passion for learning about, creating, and fostering inclusion. I have a deep interest in understanding new perspectives and am excited by the challenge of making everyone feel belonging. I am excited to learn and grow from my work, peers, and mentors; and to form meaningful connections with other professionals. My goal is to build a career that is personally fulfilling and heavily impactful. I hope to work on teams to make our world more inclusive and understanding.Currently, I am a JEDI Specialist at the Diversity Center of Northeast Ohio. JEDI is an acronym for justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion. In this role, I develop and facilitate trainings which cover topics such as inclusion in the workplace, microaggressions, and cultural humility. Some trainings dive into identity-specific discrimination and discuss how we can actively include people with historically marginalized identities both interpersonally and organizationally. Outside of trainings, I consult with clients through JEDI projects such as Culture & Climate Surveys and Strategic Planning Development Processes. These projects can help organizations discover opportunities for growth and develop action plans for implementing growth. My background includes an undergraduate degree in Women & Gender Studies and a minor in Social Justice from Case Western Reserve University. I also have a strong interest and lots of experience in STEM as I participated in almost 10 years of FIRST Robotics, and have taken courses in Mechanical Engineering and Computer/Data Science.
