* Manage a field audit team (direct and freelance employees) responsible for conducting inspections, audits and QMS training at garment manufacturers. (Global Area)* Set strategic audit plans for garment manufacturers.* Lead initiatives to ensure that production meets TR quality requirements in different factories in Global Area* Train and certification of Field Auditors and Supplier internal auditors (assure all Certified Auditors are consistent in defect interpretation, how to measure, inspection methods)* Denim - Review / approve Shade Bands* Assist garment manufacturers as a consultant for production and quality problem solving.* Develop and drive corrective action plans with suppliers finding the root cause and preventive measures.* Support the TR Code of Conduct by following through with Social Compliance audits and doing Quality Assessments on each facility (as needed). Examine final results and follow up.* Verify and ensure that quality processes and procedures are done and followed on the areas of: Fabric (bulk approval, color continuity cards, insp. results, fabric tests, FDS, relaxation methods used, etc.); Cutting (patterns p/shrinkage, panel/cut inspections, spreading technique, reports, block cutting, etc.); Embroidery (inspection methods, needle logs, final appearance, approved samples); Heat seal (substrate forms, dies, mold conditions, etc.) Sewing (cutting panels received/reviewed, first piece inspection, approved sample, product coming out of the line, check inspection methods in-line auditors, trim off, inline reports, response/maintenance of mechanics, production standards, measurements, needle logs, etc.); Certified Auditors (how POs are selected, sample size, inspection method, how to measure, review defectives found by auditor, approved sample, strike off, etc.); Packing (carton labels meet standards, packing audits, folding, etc.); Screen printing.* Discuss vendors’ quality monthly trends with them by reviewing their most recent VQR, total defective % and areas required improvement.* Responsible to review and release each of the internal audits perform by Certified Auditors or third company auditors* Product integrity - Ensure that all Vendor follow protocols of fabric and garment testing, that they are completed and that results are satisfactory.* Social Compliance - All vendors must be certified and have current certification. Once the Certificate is received, verify it and, if everything is in order, proceed to work on the Authorization Letter. For Chinese suppliers, ensure that their Custom Recordation is issue.
