I have worked with the City of Chula Vista as a Safety Intern where I gained occupational safety skills. I have obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science (Public Health) from San Diego State University. I have done air quality research as an undergraduate and has presented in SDSU’s Annual Student Research Symposium. Upon graduation, I worked with the County of San Diego as a Human Services Specialist where my interest in the environment and health of the people lead me to pursue a master’s degree in Environmental Health. I am currently working on my thesis project at San Diego State University working towards a Master’s Degree in Public Health emphasizing in Environmental Health.
