•Primary contact to provide direction for short, medium, and long range raw materials strategies and tactical planning with suppliers, product availability, plants and other business areas throughout the Latin America Region.•Ensure that the procurement policies, procedures and best practices are followed across the Region.•Manage Kellogg raw material categories (cocoa, oils, vitamins, fruit fillings, raisins, strawberries and miscellaneous items) on both a day-to-day ordering and project related basis, to meet production requirements. •Lead the team in continuous improvement of skills and utilization of systems and reporting to aid in daily and project related decisions.•Negotiate and implement price contracts with suppliers based in volume or periodicity, as well as prepare annual budgets for each category based on market and economic tendencies.•Provide expertise to others surrounding designed portfolio (supplier selection, quality issue resolution, logistics issue resolution, risk assessments, material performance, applications, industry and competitive information).•Maintain procurement system data and ensure pricing, contract terms, expiration dates, timeliness, and process controls are consistently and accurately applied.•Develop and implement supplier contingency plans to ensure an uninterrupted supply chain.•Perform analyses and identify trends to improve processes or reduce costs.•Identify and clarify internal/external customer needs and expectations, taking actions to ensure that Kellogg and customer goals are aligned and met.•Identify and manage vendors/contractors, including bid process, contract development and compliance and vendor/contractor performance.•Take necessary actions to ensure that all company quality and service standards are met, including developing and implementing quality improvement/corrective action plans.

Responsible for all purchases of electronic video cards, sound cards and 6-to-8-in-one cards for Hewlett Packard and Gateway manufacturing in Latin America.Negotiate long-term contracts to fix prices, terms and conditions that would support the demanding and changing worldwide electronic market.Analyze production forecasts to support production as well as expedite incoming shipments.Work with new product development engineering to assure optimization of use and availability of new technology headed into production.Perform accounts payable duties such as invoicing and budget planning.
