In 2018, faced with the economic and political challenges in my home country, Brazil, I decided to seek better professional opportunities. This journey led me to a role as a high school science teacher with Denver Public Schools under an H1B visa. Within two years, I achieved my Legal Permanent Residency status, often called a 'Green Card'.
