Serves as the day-to-day communications lead developing and implementing branding and communications strategies that support the work of the boutique advertising and marketing agency’s core competencies: offers advertising, marketing, public relations and media relations counsel to clients; manages creative design and printing of all branding and marketing collateral; executes broader marketing and communications plans that advance the business and philanthropic priorities of the agency; and negotiates media buys and placement that targets the client’s audience to deliver a higher return on the advertising investment.

Responsibilities encompassed the direction, supervision and coordination of account service, creative, media and interactive/digital team efforts to meet client recruitment marketing/ advertising and employee communication initiatives and goals. These included: client strategy sessions/meetings, creative development, media research and planning, copywriting/editing, print, online media placement, radio, television and outdoor mobile campaigns, Web design and content management, social media engagement, including SEO/SEM plans and billing/budget/reporting. Past clients included: the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) Each client required a deep understanding and a keen ability to reach out to diverse target audiences, geographies, and demographics.

My extensive career in recruitment advertising began at Bernard Hodes. From an entry-level Account Coordinator to Director, Client Services, for more than 20 years, I gained a rare depth and understanding of the unique challenges faced in order to meet client recruitment needs and ensure client satisfaction is met. From assisting my clients in the development of strategic recruitment communications programs to the management and supervision of those programs, I’ve done it all. I have built strong and lasting relationships with my clients based on trust, strategic thinking, knowledge and respect and have served as the client primary point of contact for the development and achievement of successful strategic recruitment campaigns. My clients have included those in numerous business sectors including: banking, finance, high technology, retail, education, and healthcare.
