CurrentServes as Vice President of the Frisco Economic Development Corporation, a Texas Type A EDC, leading executive-level development and implementation of a sustainable growth strategy, policy and performance-based metrics that define economic impact for Frisco, Texas--the fastest growing city in the nation. Oversees team culture, internal operations, management of annual budget, and strategy development, implementation and KPI tracking. Leads a team of seven economic developers focused on strategic national and international business attraction, retention and expansion, innovation, and research, including policy initiatives aimed at attracting headquarters, corporate offices and scaling emerging tech industries in the City of Frisco. Fostering a vibrant innovation ecosystem of corporate innovation and R&D hubs, sports technology, venture capital and smart cities is a key focus area for the EDC team.MAJOR PROJECTS:At the close of Year 3 of a 5-Year Strategic Plan, from October 2021 - September 30, 2024, the Frisco EDC Team closed 72 relocation and expansion projects resulting in more than $2.2 billion in tax base improvements, creating more than 4.6 million square feet of new mixed-use developments and absorbing more than 1 million square feet of commercial real estate, and creating more than 10,520 new jobs in Frisco associated with companies such as TIAA, Boingo, Ruiz Foods, McAfee, Toshiba, Extenet, Plug and Play Tech Center and more. As a result, Frisco's talent shed has been reduced by 24% to 62.8% in 2023 from 86% in 2019.
