ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE Responsible in handling Major accounts, from preparation and sending of invoices, collections/ follow-ups and review of account’s payment history and all other related problems relating to customer’s inquiries Weekly preparation of aging reports for different offices (manila, cebu and davao), preparation and review of Overdue Reports more than 45days/ long outstanding receivables Responsible for review and updates of credit lines extended to customers, handles credit application of customers to quarterly updates of customer profiles Assisting customer’s daily follow ups on rates, shipments status, payment status and refunds Preparation of tax reports.

TAXES – preparation of tax reports, filing and payment via EFPS and manual filing and payment of taxes for OOCL (International Shipping Line), OOCL (Phils) Inc (shipping agent) and OOCL Logistics Philippines Inc (forwarder) – taxes such as 3% Common Carrier’s Tax (monthly), 2.5% Income Tax (quarterly), Withholding Tax (Expanded-monthly), Value Added Tax (monthly & quarterly), Documentary Stamps Tax (Corporate Taxes) Preparation and analysis of all creditable taxes, from vendors and customers Accounts Payable - weekly matching of vouchers (processing of payments to different vendors for operational activities of international carrier and business admin. expenses of local agent) Accounts Receivable : assisting Finance Manager on analysis of aging receivables on a weekly basis and quarterly review of credit lines extended to special customers Accounts Receivable : support to A/R team for over-the-counter payments, issuance of official receipts, invoices, review of daily collection reports, monitoring of petty cash fund/ revolving fund (manila/ davao) Financial reports for our Logistics arm, bank reconciliation for OPI and OOCL (A/R) and vendor reconciliation (A/P) Monitoring of all bound and loose leaf registered accounting forms, including purchases and registrations for both used and unused forms. Responsible for safekeeping of all accounting records
