As far as I remember, social justice and protecting the environment have always been strong drivers for me. For some reason, I thought that I should pursue these objectives in the field of finance.I have been doing it with some success by identifying innovative ideas and devising new approaches to influence policy and practice. In that respect, my extensive experience in research, evaluation and public engagement with civil society, financial institutions and the public sector has been very helpful. After six years at the European Investment Bank in charge of engaging with civil society organisations, I am now a Senior Corporate Responsibility Officer. In this role, I lead on sustainability reporting, monitor sustainability regulations and provide expertise regarding ESG indicators and disclosure. In addition, I continue to work on EIB outreach activities with influential NGOs, to develop impactful communication material, and to contribute to the transparency and accountability of the EIB.Prior to the EIB, I worked with the retail financial services sector in France, Ireland and internationally, where I focused on analysing customers’ needs and difficulties, designing adequate responses and evaluating the impact and efficiency of programmes and policies.
